Terme Lendava
Lendava is the most eastner town in Slovenia, which is located at the crossroads of important transport routes connecting the eastern and western Europe.
The Romans had here one of their stations on the stretch from Ptuj to Szombathely (Savaria-Poetovio) which they called Halicanum.
In the history of Lendava is known as one of the cities on which passed the amber road. Today, the amber has been replaced with other goods: thermal springs.
Terme Lendava are especially known for the paraffin water and paraffin treatments which revitalize your skin. Besides the thermal springs here you can try the excellent cuisine and great wines. For the lovers of cycling Lendava is an inevitable destination in Slovenia. In fact many different dynamic cycling and hiking trails winding among the hills with small churches and vineyards descending to the plains along the Mura river and divert to neighboring Hungary and Croatia. Besides biking there are many opportunities for recreation: tennis, table tennis, volleyball and volleyball, canoeing.
Terme Lendava,
besides their medicinal effects, provides soothing relaxation and active adventure in the water. At your disposal are 1849 m2 of water surfaces (winter-summer pool, thermal pool "cluster", an Olympic swimming pool with slide and ironing down, children's pool and indoor pools, which include a recreational pool with water effects, rapid river, massage jets, geysers, waterfall and a children's pool).
You can find accommodation in the Hotel Lipa or apartments in an apartment complex Lipov Gaj. For those who want to experience the countryside in its full glory here is an autocamp Lipa.
