In the centre of the southern part of Istria, halfway between Pazin and Pula, near the road connecting inland Istria with the south of the peninsula, lies the old town of Svetvincent (St. Vincent).
It is a town surrounded by nature, clean air and offers the likes of agrotourism and rural tourism where guests can stay and get a taste of Istrian cuisine.
In the centre of Svetvincent is the town square surrounded by a castle, church and houses all built in renaissance style. The Grimiani castle, completely made of stone, covers almost the whole northern part of the town square and has been the symbol of Svetvincenat for centuries.
Along with its cultural and historical heritage, visitors can enjoy many outdoor activities such as long walks, hikes or bike-riding through nature along the many trails which surround the town as well as hunting on its many hunting grounds.
