On the Istrian peninsula, as the tourist place on the extreme west of the peninsula is located Savudrija. Known for it's boats and a lighthouse from the beginning of the 19^th century that is the older on the Adriatic coast, covered with pines, olive trees and cypresses. Savudrija leaves an effect of an  untouched nature in which every guest can find it's own peace. The locals deal with fishing and agriculture along tourism as the main activity.

This area is one of the greenest one in Istria and known also for numerous woods and parks. The shore is characteristic, with stone plates that fall into the sea in a gentle angle.
