In the archipelago of Sibenik, covered with a dense mediterranean vegetation, vineyards and olives and with it's picturesque bays is located the island of Prvic.

The island has only two little places and for the first time in the history it was mentioned in the 11 th century. As on the other island in the archipelago on Prvic the history has also left it's marks in the form of many historic and cultural monuments. Various altars in baroque style, fragments from the early christian era, the curch of the Saint Vergin Mary with a covnent builted from the glagolian monks and many other monuments that testify the rich culture of this little island.

Prvic is known as a home island of which comes the parachute inventor Faust Vrancic, which grave is situated in the church of the Lady of Mercy.

During the history the habitants of the island dealed with catlee-breeding and agriculture. Today Prvic has a significant role as an attractive tourist destination. It's sunny beaches, the crystal clear sea, the parfume of the pines in the shadows and the old stone houses  attract visitors and make the island an ideal location for those who want to relax in a tipical mediterranean ambience.
