The island of Olib is a small island situated in the Adriatic Sea on the east side of the island of Silba and it belongs to the archipelago of Zadar. The island was inhabitated since the Roman Empire, and in the 10^th century it was mentioned under the name of Aleop.

On the west coast it's situated the largest bay and the harbor of Olib, while on the east coast is situated the harbor of Slatinica. On the entrance in the harbor of Olib is located the tower Kastel, dating from the 17^th century.

The island is one of the lowest in the whole archipelago of Zadar and its highest peak is 74m above the sea level only.

The island is connected with the mainland with daily ferry lines that goes from the island till Zadar City.

The island is characterized with thick vegetation and wide pastures.

On the island there are no hotel accommodation facilities but every guest will for sure find an appropriate accommodation in one of the private houses offering apartments, studios or rooms.

The local people deal with agriculture and fishing. The guests will certainly enjoy in the traditional home made products such as olive oil, cheese and vine.
