On the northwest coast of the Krk island, on a half way between Malinska and Omisalj, in a wide protected bay of Belikamik (Whitestone), are situated Njivice.

Njivice were mentioned for the first time in the donation document of the duke Ivan Frankopan from the 1474. But the archaeological diggings reveal that the place is much older. Beside the colony of Villa sasso bianco, Njivice are mentioned also in 1790. Njivice were a little place in the history whose habitants were dealing with fishing, olive growing, breeding and forestry. Recognising the value and the potential of Njivice there was built the first hotel "Luka" and the first Villa Dinka in 1930 which is considered the beginning year of the tourist activity in Njivice.

The beautiful sandy, gravel and rocky beaches, surrounded with rich vegetation, clean sea, an abundance of shadow, good climatic conditions and friendly hosts are a guarantee of success.  Like other places on the island Njivice offer various hidden beaches on which you can find your own peace.

The sports offer in Njivice, like the nature that surrounds it, it's remarkable, tennis, mini golf, table tennis, basket, motor boat riding, water scooter riding, water skiing, surfing and paragliding. For those who with a quiet spirit we recommend walking along the coast promenade that leads to Malinska, or relaxing with dancing on one of the numerous restaurant terraces or with a dash of  ham and a song interpreted by local choir singing traditional songs in local taverns.

The fisherman's nights and the folklore events are manifestations held by local people who in a funny way try to introduce their guests with their tradition.

The accommodation in hotels, camping, tourist village "Flora", and villas or in one in the numerous apartments and rooms available in private houses offer the possibility to a guest to chose the accommodation that he likes the most.

The hosts will offer to their guests a fresh prepared dish of fish and their famous native vine Zlahtina which will be offered in every menu of the local restaurants.
