Kolsin is city founded by Turks in 17th century. It lays in the middle of Montenegro between beautiful mountains at 954 m of altitude. Sinjajevina, Bjelasica, Kljuc and Vucje embraced this little city. The district has about 12000 inhabitants. The restless Rivers Tara and Moraca stream along it.

Kolasin offers excellent vacation as in winter as well as summer for it's climate conditions.

The snow of the high mountains irrigates many of the rivers and streams that are located in the middle of the mountains...

A special attraction for tourists represents National park "Biogradska gora" between the lakes Tara and Lima. Biogradska gora it is an unique botanical garden - best school for botanist's and naturalist but even for an adventurer. It is one of three preserved virgin forest of Europe. The Lake Biograd is at 1094 m of altitude and around it there are walking paths.

The mountain Bjelasica dominates on the eastern part of Kolasin, rich with water flux and woods. Agriculture and animal husbandry are the traditional activities of this region. Favourable geographical position and untouched nature makes this town an ideal ''air spa'', suitable for holidays, relaxing and sports. 

For all the ones that are in search of excaitment the paragliding is the right thing. For hunters and fichermans this is the paradise on earth and horseback riding and camping   make the rich assortment of Kolasin tourism.

Climbers and tourists are attracted by numerous mountain peaks where they can reach going through many footpaths.

For the lovers of winter sports this is the right place because just 8,5km far away from Kolasin there is the ski centre Jezerine with 15km of ski paths on which You can ski day or night. The cableway is 1840 meters long and there are also 4 skilifts.

Kolasin is an excellent place for skiing and other winter sports.
