The small
town of Brtonigla is located in the north-western part of the Istrian peninsula on the regional road of Buje – Novigrad.
This was once the roman settlement of Ortus Niger and was first mentioned back in the year 1102.
Brtonigla is a haven of nature and unforgettable landscape. Residents of Brtonigla are mainly occupied with agriculture and wine making so
agrotourism plays a big part in
Brtonigla’s tourism. Since the coast is only 8km away, many private houses in Brtonigla offer accommodation such as apartments and rooms. Guests can take advantage of Brtonigla´s beautiful nature and take walks and hikes through its many trails. After a long day in the outdoors, guests can settle in one of the town’s taverns and enjoy delicious homemade food as well as quality homemade wine.
This is a place where guests can getaway from everyday life and enjoy their vacation in a peaceful and serene environment.
