Bozava is a small place with a homonym harbour situated on the north east coast of the island of Dugi Otok. For the first time the place was mentioned in 1327. under the name of Bosana. The ruins of the fort protected villages' date since the times of the Illyrians.
The dense pine forests that surround many hotels and apartments give a special charm to the whole place.
Bozava is the most developed place on the island in which are situated the main hotel and restaurant facilities. Beautiful bays and beach with crystal clear sea are the main characteristic of this area. Thanks to it's marvellous underwater beauties Bozava is a known and very interesting spot for diving.
Except as a tourist place, Bozava is very known because of its harbour.
