Banjole is a small fishing town with its own naturally protected harbour and has existed since the Roman times.
It is located on a small peninsula close to Premantura near the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula.
Residents of Banjole are closely tied to the sea making fishing and sailing a popular pastime.
